My name is Ellie! I am a native German and grew up in Berlin. In my late 20s my husband Tom and I moved to Atlanta to experience life in the U.S. We planned to probably stay for 5 years...  In Germany, my professional career started in Marketing and Communications. Upon relocating to the United States, I dedicated my time to volunteer at the Georgia Aquarium. Once we started discussing moving back, I was lucky to find a German-American firm where I could thrive as a bi-lingual Marketer with strong ties to Germany.  The universe seemed to have chosen for us to establish our roots permanently on this side of the pond, making us dual citizens and designating Atlanta as our home for nearly two decades now!
